Step-by-Step

Get the Chrome extension package from the official service page and prepare it for installation.

  Go to the G-Map Data Scraper download page and click the Add to Chrome button.

  A .zip file will begin downloading automatically to your computer.
• →
  Once downloaded, locate the file and unzip/extract the folder to a memorable location.

Since this is an unpacked extension, you need to enable Developer Mode in Chrome to load it manually.

  Click the browser extensions icon (puzzle piece) in the top-right of Chrome, then select Manage Extensions.

  On the Extensions page, toggle Developer Mode ON — it's in the top-right corner.

  Click Load unpacked and browse to the unzipped folder you extracted in Step 1.

  The G-Map Data Scraper extension will now appear in your extensions list and be ready to use.

Open the extension popup and start your free version to begin scraping Google Maps data immediately.

  Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the scraper popup.

  Click the Start Free Version button to activate your free trial.
• →
  Your free trial will begin instantly — no sign-up or credit card required.

Set up your keyword targets and scraping preferences, then launch the extraction process.

  Upload Keyword File: Use the Upload Keyword File input to bulk-import keywords from a .txt or .csv file.

  Enter Keywords Manually: Or type your search terms directly into the Enter Keywords field (e.g. "restaurants in Mumbai").

  Scrape Limit Type: Select All to extract everything, or set a custom number to limit records per keyword.

  Skip Duplicates: Check Skip Duplicate Record to avoid duplicate entries in your exported data.

  When all settings are configured, click Start Process to begin the data extraction.
